Spring Celebration at Historic Old St John’s Church

Church services once again at the historic Old St. John’s Church (1734) in King William County

Mizpah United Methodist Church in Walkerton, VA held a beautiful spring celebration service at the Old Historic St. John’s Church on Route 30 in King William County.  http://stjohnswp.org/oldstjohns/

Pastor Betty Jo Sims of Mizpah stood behind the historic pulpit at Old St. John’s Church to deliver her sermon to a group of 17 of her parishioners.  Her scripture reading was from John 15: 9-17. 

We were blessed to have the Liturgical Dance group the “Silent Crusaders” perform a unique blend of music and sign language.  Ann Olliff and Linda Robinson of the group were beautiful to watch.  They performed several songs with dance and sign language to show their love for God. 

Mizpah wishes to invite you and your family and friends to join us each Sunday for our continuing worship services in our 129 year old historic church (which was started in 1885) at 6062 Cantebury Road, Walkerton, VA (behind the fire house).
